Every company has to hold meetings, but why do we have to meet in stuffy conference rooms? Why not get outside? Why not making our meetings camping trips?
For our first annual company meeting, we're doing just that. We'll be driving out to Colorado for an extended weekend of team building and strategic planning. We're also hoping to capture some photos to share. If you're interested, follow us on Instagram.
But this trip isn't just about business; it's also about connectedness. Connecting to nature, to one another, and to our customers.
Anybody who's spent the night suspended between two trees knows what it means to connect to nature. But connecting to people's different.
When we get outdoors, we're reminded who we are - we're reminded we're frail human beings. We remember that we can't (and don't want to) go on this journey alone. We need our team. We need our customers. We're all in it together.
And, coincidentally, that makes for great meetings.
So here's to our first annual company camp. If you're interested in keeping up with our company updates, follow us on LinkedIn.
